Hi, I’m Stephen — a commercial photographer based in Malta, with over two decades of experience helping businesses communicate visually with clarity and impact. Over the years, I’ve workedWith brands like McDonald’s, KFC, Farsons, and BOV — as well as many local businesses doing great things in their own right. I’ve also had the opportunity to take on a few international projects, and expanding my work abroad is something I continue to aim for. Every shoot gets the same attention to detail: we plan carefully, aim to get the best results in-camera, and work efficiently from capture to delivery. I’ve built a flexible workflow that helps us move quickly when needed, without cutting corners. Photography isn’t just about making things look good — it’s about creating visuals that reflect who you are. My Story: From Mechanical Mind to Visual Storyteller

My journey started in a completely different field – I’m a trained Mechanical Technician with a naturally technical mindset. This background gave me something unique in photography: a deep understanding of how things work, how light behaves, and how to solve problems systematically. I’m a doer by nature, always tinkering and improving. What really drives me is light itself. I studied at the New York Institute of Photography, but honestly, it all began much earlier when I found myself constantly surrounded by photographs, studying how light could transform ordinary subjects into something extraordinary.

Having worked alongside talented food stylists throughout my career, I’ve picked up essential food styling skills – perfect for beverages, product arrangements, and set building when your project requires that extra creative touch. I also have a wealth of knowledge I’d love to share through small workshops someday. While public speaking isn’t my strongest suit (I’m much better behind the camera!), I’m passionate about helping others understand the technical and creative aspects of commercial photography.
